No. 17 is a par 5 because of the land mines The Kabul Golf Club in Bandi Qargha, Afghanistan, has brown fairways, black greens and hazards golfers will never forget.

Home field advantage: Cardinals outfielder Jim Edmonds was trying to snag a fly off the bat of the Cubs' Aramis Ramirez when Wrigley Field's center field ivy snagged him.

The perfect pet for the whole family: Three thousand crocodiles seized from a drug dealer will be auctioned off at a croc farm in Ayutthaya province, Thailand. Prices range from $12 to $85 each.

Bridge over water trouble: Chris Bevin (bottom left) and Joe Mozer hang on to young Tyler Buckmeir as he clings to a bridge pier in the swollen Cascade Creek in Rochester, Minn. The two men jumped into the fast-moving water to help when they saw the boy in distress. Rescuers were able to pull all three to safety.

Breaking and entering: This "squirrel-proof" birdfeeder in North Waterboro, Maine, isn't as good as advertised.

The thread is GREAT! We can play music later. I really liked the folding flag. I learned it in my youth, but I like the refresher course. Thanks. What songs did we miss?

The lava picture is really interesting. It must be something to watch the lava flow into the sea.
