I love Free Republic, but will Clinton be treated any differently by some here when he passes? Not to excuse DU for the cruel sentiments, but Clinton-haters give just as good.

I can't speak for all of us at this site, but I am sure a lot of us would not stoop to the level of those at DU.

I disagree. While there wil be some who say hateful and unkind things, they will be the exceptions not the rule and they will be chastised by other Freepers, something that is not happening at DU. In addition, we are ashamed of the darker parts of our nature, we don't celebrate them.

FTR, I have never wished that any physical harm come to the Clintons. I will not rejoice, in the least, if I see it happen. But I would like to see them behind bars.

"...but will Clinton be treated any differently by some here when he passes?"

I think most FReepers, instead of spewing nasty words about Clinton, will say something like, "May God have mercy on his soul for what he did to this nation."

My plans for when any of the Clinton's die or Teddy K are the following words:

There might be a very few that try to sneak a similar post through, the Ad Min. will Zot it in a hurry.

The vast majority will be above gloating and wishes of ill will.

I figure that when Bill and Hill die, i will react the same way i did when Coleman Young finally died. ( I'm a Detroit gal and I watched that creep and his buddies systamatically loot the city...)

When Coleman died, all I felt was a grim satisfaction that he could do no more damage. I poured myself a scotch, and drank it quietly, speaking to no one.

I did not gloat, nor rejoice.

If and when Clinton ever passes, I hope and think that Freeper threads won't be along the lines of this (DU haters). Or like Andrew Sullivan dancing on Strom Thurmond or Bob Hope's grave the day or so of their death because they once made comments/jokes about the Sullivan-like lifestyle.

Also, as one who has lobbied for putting Reagan on Mount Rushmore, I will say that Clinton's comments were gracious and thoughtful. See...I'm not a hater. Let's leave that to the DUHs.
