I'm thinking about getting another LJ that I use for "out in the open" stuff, you know, day-to-day routine without personal thoughts. Then when I'm away from home, I can use it to let my parents and friends know what I'm up to.

My brother set up a blog like that for our family. I'll have to ask him how he did it, but it was nice. There's a general page for the whole family and then each member has a site.
