Oh, yeah. Like I said, I mostly use it to keep track of a couple friends, all of whom are lefty college student geek types. Still, it's nice to have a place to rant now and then - I only talk about my life, not about politics, really.
Also it's for a couple friends to read, who don't use ljs, so they know what I'm up to and we can save some time on IM. It's so tricky to coordinate IM conversations with friends on other continents. I only get about one a week with C, and we used to be able to talk every day.
I understand! I wish this sort of thing had been possible when I was in college. I might not have had half the problems I did then!
