We hardly ever get precipitation. When we do... it's usually mostly hail. *sigh*
They just said we didn't even have measureable rainfall with that storm that was here a little bit ago. Big honkin' hail... but no measureable rain.
Evening!
Just remember - I don't go alone!
Honest snaig.
Phone call..BRB
Rose will be with Ruthy and I in the warm woman section!
My AC has not been on yet this year. :-D
Still running the furnace?
There's a good trade-off to be had...
We have basically NO dangerous critters. No cockroaches, no biting bugs (especially on the beach... nothing *bites*), no gators, no poisonous snakes, no gila monsters... nothing really all that dangerous at all.
Sure... there's the occasional bear or cougar... but they don't bother me and I don't bother them. We have an agreement that way.
Uh... forgot... the pilot light is still on. I guess I could turn that off now. :-)
Ya didn't mention skeeters. Got skeeters?
I guess if it's going to be that cold, I shouldn't bother bringing shorts.
Fortunately for us: sharks are stoopid. That, and they don't have hands with opposable thumbs, so they can't work buttons or zippers. Keeps them from wearing coats. Since they can't button the coats, they just keep falling off when they swim. Lucky for us.
I'm startin' to wonder the same thing OT! Hard to think of that in late June huh?
uh... I just turned off the pilot light and gas to the furnace. If it falls below 75 I may complain!
AC?? What's that?
Dull is good. Online friends are better. I got to do that yesterday... can't do it at the client site, though. It's especially tricky for me as my friend's five time zones ahead.
Hullo, back from errands, fixing up my lunch for tomorrow, exercise, et al. We decided to wear costumes to the Harry Potter movie, so we had to find material for hats.
And now I'm almost ready for bed, sigh.
I like the way you think. :-)
Come on down to Houston in August and you'll be beggin' for it. For that matter so would I - in Houston. :-)
Nope. Well... yes, there are skeeters in Washington... but they don't like the salt air. Houses back away from the beach will get skeeters, but we don't see 'em near the beach. Suits me.
Now that is VEY cool about the skeeters! I'd rather have all manner of nasty bugs crawlin' around than to get buzzed constantly by those things!
Gotta close windows -- FAST!
Sharks use velcro, silly!
Gees! That one blew in so hard that it blew a lamp off the table behind me! Criminy! The windows are 4 feet above the floor in here. The lamp was on a low table. Uh,.... that's a STRONG gust!
