Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

If I knew what to do with dumbbells, that WOULD be a good option. They're pretty cheap and portable, for one thing...the little ones, anyway.
But if I used the gym at the college, I could probably get a session in during lunch, which would give me more evening time. So...that might be nice, too.
Eventually I'll figure it out!
Gonna go read and then sleep. See you tomorrow!

I'm really thrilled. I look forward to seeing everybody and having such a good time with everyone. And the break from the same-ol-same-ol I deal with everyday will do wonders for me. :-)

"I'll have to re-tune for that, right?"Re-tune not, should you! Listen not to the Emperor! Fear and anger lead to the ultraviolet spectrum. To the visible spectrum a true Jedi stays. Feel ROYGBIV--flowing between you--and the rock--and the ship. . .

Thanks. Who else is in transit right now?

Good evening, Master Sea-Man!
Am i bringing MP3s, or audio tracks?
To: Rose in RoseBear
I dunno, are you bringing any?
My system can play mp3 CD's, but it's a Sony player so it can't play .wma (windows media) format.

Bringing some wedding music ... partially for me, since I need to soothe my claustrophobia on planes, and partially for others to enjoy.
Eeeek! I have to charge my CDplayer!

Feel ROYGBIV--flowing between you--and the rock--and the ship. . . But....but...we're not using an FID!

Sigh--always with this one it cannot be done. Only in your mind the FID is! Feel the FID!

I would never take advantage of half the Hobbit Hole being gone while Preciouses are just lying around for the taking. . .You just gotta walk right up:
and take it!
To: Professional Engineer
Whoah! Cool graphic! How'd you do that? :)

The old fashioned way. I swiped it from another thread a couple of years ago.
Bear could prolly find the thread last year where I "walked" up to a precious from 20 or so posts out.
To: Professional Engineer
Whew, just got caught up. Tomorrow, I'll probably be 500 posts behind, again.
Isn't about time for some new digs?
