I'm all packed too, except for last minute items. Got almost all my errands done. Going to Walmart tonight.

I'm just waiting for the dentist office to call me to let me know it is time to pick Steve up.

Mine is just so fine that if it gets more than even chin length, it looks terrible...and putting it up just looks sad, since it makes such a skinny little ponytail.

I'll feel so much better when it's cut!

I ended up shoving so much stuff in for my purse from WalMart that I'm not sure it's all even going to fit! I gotta get my purse all together when I get to my brother's house... and put my last knife in the check bag.

I hope my jewelry don't set off the metal detectors again. I always hate that!

In a little more than 48 hours, Corin will be alone. ALL ALONE! I seriesly considered takin' the dog and the cat to the kennel fer the weekend...

It turned out the Cousin Reunion is NEXT weekend, so I'll be enjoying the wedding vicariously, then partying later!

This weekend will be spent in more preparation for the addition, interrupted only by the nuptials on Sat. afternoon.

I have told you the story of my dog savin' me from bein' bit by a rattlesnake when I was nekkid in the backyard haven't I?

Ummm...I don't think so. So many questions. So little time.

I only have on 16 items of jewelry of some sort right now. Toes, fingers, ears, bellybutton...... I'm bein' pretty low-key about this. I hate it when I forget and wear metalic belts at airports!!!

You shoulda changed that font size to either real big or real small to make that story spread faster! :-)

LOL... at the old place... so far in the country that nobody could tell what I was doin' in my backyard anyhow. Summertime, no A/C - all windows and doors kept wide open anyway. I was in the tub one night and remembered I forgot to feed the dog. I jumped out of the tub, ran out in the yard to put the dogfood in the bowl - about 10 yards out the back door. About the time I turned to run back in the house I heard the rattles... and froze... nekkid in the middle of the backyard.... picturing tomorrow's headlines, "Nekkid Woman found dead in yard from Snakebite" The dog slowly moved over in between me and the snake, turning herself broadside to the snake and blocking me from it. I was back inside the back door in about 3 steps! Flying leaps. And that dog will ever be proclaimed as the queen of all critters!!!!

Heh...nothing quite like that here. But there's been a couple of times I've gone swimmin' when campin' or something only to be told later "yeah, that's were we saw those water moccasins..."

Don't ya think they just tell ya that to freak you out? At least, I like to convince myself of that when people tell me that after the fact!!!

Cause I'd mess my drawers if I thought it was true!!!!
