Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...That none have seen but we alone.

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I think Myranda is potentially a force to be reckoned with if she continues to be involved politically. And yes, I believe she will continue to be involved. She had an interest in politics even in the '96 election. She was 11. And vocal.

Myranda is much more outspoken than I am. Yeah, I know I can get outspoken with ya'll - that I know, but I usually keep my mouth shut. Myranda did not follow in my footsteps with that. She can intelligently argue her points adroitly with such a dazzling smile on her face that the libs don't know what hit 'em till she's done.

Funny show was that during the 2000 election Myranda was a sophomore in high school. She was in journalism and their star editorial writer. There was a school assembly to which the Young Republicans and the Young Dims were invited from Baylor to debate the issues at Myranda's high school.

They began with a question and answer session with questions presented from the student body. Myranda was the first student to stand. She asked the representative for the Baylor dims 3 questions which he couldn't successfully answer at which point the President of the Baylor Young Republicans stood up and said "This young lady has just proven all our points." He then asked for a show of hands as to how many students would vote for gore, NO ONE in the student body raised a hand. It was funny. The whole assembly kinda went to the dogs for those young dims.

The media is searching around desperately for someone, anyone to hang blame on for the "event" -- because the person responsible for the murder took the gun to themselves and exited the scene. So now the medias politics are to find other people to hang for it. Can't be closure for them unless you make a scapegoat out of someone, or a bunch of someones. No fun unless you can demonize and tar and feather.

Cool... maybe she would consider being my running mate when I run for President? :-)

All of the most important things that Reagan ever did, he did after the age of 70. There is hope for us all. :-)

That sounds totally unrealistic. But then, it seems like a lot of things that a lot of ya'lls population up there thinks is unrealistic to me.

But, it also seems like to me that if you need someone up there to blame for something Ramius is a likely candidate. He's used to it from work. He can take it.

LOL.... the girl would get ya attention. Maybe votes, but for sure attention. :-)

I've told ya before that I thought she had Ann Coulter potential. She just ain't tall with long legs. She's kinda short. But, she does wear a mini-skirt that I've noticed catches a lot of eyes.

Your arrival will significantly uptick the proportion of conservatives in the population here. Your liable to think you hopped a plane for France or Germany, 'ceptin' for the language thing.
