Aww...
Done working out. Now what shall I do?
Got steak and stuff....listening to the Cubs...hanging out...
Running to the store to get dinner materials... chicken, brocoli, and potatoes. Yum.
This one in particular show is conditioning...
He's got whole muscle groups my ole Bay just doesn't have!
Good afternoon, Hobbit Hole! Jen, you've got mail. OT, how are the Cubs doing?
Hi, Hair! Did you watch the race yesterday?--what'd you think?
Hi, Scott! Nice picture of Secretariat :)
Down by only one run but it's early yet.
Oh the rest yesterday was a heartbreak.
Smarty looked like he had it without competition... an easy lope to the finish... I don't think he saw the spoiler horse coming till it was too late, and I don't think he had another gear left in him.
Hard to think there's any exaggeration in that statement at all.
Hi...well, everyone seemed a tad disappointed at the race yesterday...but it's sure uplifting to remember the standard we are using to judge these things by!
Too young to remember Secretariat.... my emotional favorite is Seattle Slew. Because of his name, I thought I sortof owned him as a kid.
Who are they playing?
Secretariat was a Virginian.
It was disappointing Smarty didn't win. But yeah, it's uplifting to remember Secretariat :)
I took one of my low-carb tortillas and put a pile of sliced steak (from the defrosted batch) on top...then I put about a half ounce of shredded cheddar on top of that, heated it up, then a bit of diced bell pepper and a couple of chopped olives. Then a couple of thin slices of avocado and a bit of homemade bacon bits. Then I drizzled about a tablespoon of zero-carb ranch dressing over the whole thing.
By the time I was done, I couldn't close the tortilla and had to eat it like a taco! LOL
I bet the whole thing weren't 7 carbs and I'm totally stuffed.
Joshua is asleep on the couch. Good thing, that. He had a rough morning, but started tolerating sips of water and then progressed pretty quickly into some bites of plain rice and banana. He had a half a cup of chicken broth and then cashed on the couch. He is so precious when he sleeps.
I think he's turning around though...not a bad stomach upset.
Nice Hobbit Hole banner, ecurb...
