Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...That none have seen but we alone.

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

LOL!

I still think it's cool.

I was always intrigued by blue kool-aid and such...colors that just DON'T occur in nature. Mmmmm....

In any case, it looks like the perfect beach party drink! And it won't break the wedding budget...less'n a LOT of dwarves show up.

From the bright rainbow colors of MD 20/20 (a.k.a. Mad Dog) to the lighter, pastels of Boone's, ghetto wines look quite similar to wine coolers or even Kool-Aid. But don't be deceived - their punch is stronger than Bartles and James or the Kool-Aid Man. Ranging from about five percent alcohol (similar to beer) to 18 percent (about half of hard alcohol), cheap wines offer easy, economical and colorful ways to get drunk.

From The Michigan Daily Online - A touch of underclass - Cheap wine an alternative, proletariat potable

But I'm keeping my mouth shut on that one.

Discretion is the better part of valor, or so I've heard.

Remind me of your m-i-l's first name so I can put her back on the Parish Prayer line.

I have to go to a mandatory "Evacuation Training" tomorrow to figure out how to get my sorry butt down two flights of stairs.

I'm thinkin' of tellin' 'em that if I made it to the training, I figgered out how to get out of the building...
