THe first time around this show was a somewhat funny sterotyping comedy. It was not on my watch list back then.

Hollywood's new rendition will suck and be so pc that it will make one nauseous.

And airhead Simpson is a poor ....very poor...replacement.

The original had long legs. Simpson is over torso-ed.

What this movie will end up being ...is a rebuttal to the political insensitvities of the original.

Mark my words.

Remember the last TV Reunion special? They showed the General Lee's roof one-time in a two-hour show.

Also, the script-writers went out of the way to have the cousins make friends with some Latinos in East LA. Why were the Dukes in LA anyway?

Daisy's character had that country girl charm - she was could be sweet and charming, but have Enus in a headlock on the ground in a flash. She would rescue her cousins and handle tough situations. Aside from the physical differences, Simpson's persona is too cutesy and clueless - I just can't see her getting dirty, riding in a Jeep, or living on a farm.

Who would you nominate for DaisyDuke 2, wardaddy?

Yup, and we thought Charlies Angels 2 was bad.

How could modern Hollwood even begin to capture the essence of Dukes.

Like trying to teach a dog to play guitar.
