Here in "blue country" the small bookstores are generally "mom and mom" operations if you get my drift and they NEVER carry anything conservative.
I know what you mean. Borders and Barnes and Noble drive the others out of business and the little stores don't have the resources to compete. I have ordered books from independents the B&N said they couldn't get.
