I didn't either, but it makes sense. It would explain why many female marathon runners and anorexics don't menstruate regularly, or at all. Also, I read where Corrie ten Boom said she didn't know of one fellow inmate of the concentration camps she was in who menstruated. 'Cos they were starved, as well as mentally & physically traumatized.

I noticed that the skinniest women were the ones who wanted the least sex and complained about their husbands "demands" on them for sex. The heavier women were more interested in sex.

From the male perspective, an average-looking woman with a high libido is a much better deal than a beautiful "ice maiden". A guy who isn't getting much at home is much more likely to satisfy his needs elsewhere than a guy who is kept happy at home

You must not have been retaining water at the time. I haven't weighed myself in a long time (I'm too scared to look at the scale these days), but when I used to weigh myself regularly, my weight would fluctuate the same 5-7 pounds over the course of the month. It was all water retention.

Nope. My weight, as measured on the scale, has been essentially the same for the past 6 weeks or so, but at least 2 people have told me in the last week that I look thinner. One is my Pilates teacher, who specifically pointed to my face being more defined and my torso narrower.

As I said earlier, it's a matter of losing fat and gaining muscle.

I don't know exactly how tall she was (5'5" or 5'6"), but I've heard Marilyn Monroe was about a size 12.

Sizes were very different back then. These days, she'd probably be an 8 or so.

Are they trying to say that men who have pretty women as wives do so based on looks and have little problem in repeating their behavior when they find other women who have that same trait?

Well, sort of. Maybe the men with the larger wives know that nookie is a twice a week thing but a good meal is a three times a day thing.

I dunno............married to a thin, 6' blonde. Hair past her behind. Gorgeous. VERY thin, yet cooks like a demon......and I should weigh 500 pounds. I lucked out, I know......................and by the way, she still looks like that after seven kids. Seven. And in her mid 40's.
