Being 5'10 and 115 pounds .....but I wear a size 12.

If that is true, I will never understand how they size women's clothing. My fiance is a whole 6 inches shorter than you, but only 8 pounds lighter and wears a size 2. She is very skinny... but she knows she has nothing to worry about with me. :)

I talked to my husband about this. He is an OB/GYN. He suggested that there might be a biological reason for this. Sex hormones are stored in fat and heavier women could have higher hormone levels than skinny women. If this results in greater libido for fat women vs skinny women, that could explain why men with fat wives are less likely to stray. They are getting more sex at home than men with skinny wives.

That's assuming that the sole or primary reason men cheat is because they're not getting it at home...

But the overweight ones are often miserable and bear the scars of low self esteem and that, is the worst affliction a woman can have.

Only grossly overweight women, not those size 16-20.

And many compulsive dieters have low self esteem...and bulemia...

My husband is the same as you when it comes to figuring out women's clothes............and looking elsewhere!!!

Me, neither. I'd like to know why they didn't study the appearances of men whose wives cheat.

I'm far from skinny...6'3" and about 220 lbs. I think I need to drop a few pounds, myself. :)

Actually, there are plenty of women who can't stand the sight of themselves in the mirror and they are maybe 25-30lbs overweight. I grant you that probably qualifies as obese in some cases but it's enough to send most down the low self-esteem trail.

Actually, men would do better if they made more money and dressed well... Very atractive women don't care if you're chubby if you look decient, take care of yourself (dress well and are clean) and prove that you can take care of them. If we're being honest.
