Yep!

My parents had a very informal, inexpensive wedding, too. My Dad got married in a suit he bought at a Goodwill shop a few days ahead of time. ;-) Mom's dress was a white one her Mom was making anyway - she just added a little trim and a veil. The reception was held in her parents' garage and back yard!

I think I'd want maybe a quick church ceremony...but nothing big or with a fancy reception.

We had what my Granny called a "hippy wedding". We had a Guitar Mass, I wore flowers in my hair, and a dress I made myself; a very simple long sheath dress with a lace caplet. We had a short reception afterwards, with cake and punch in the Church Hall, then we all went to Mama's for the FOOD. The aunts made ham, roast beef, potato salad, etc, and that's where the beer and stuff was!

It was an inexpensive wedding, but we had a great time!
