I imagine so about the sweet...I'm a salt person more than a sweet...I like popcorn a LOT! Buttery and salty. It's the one single thing I miss the most since we started this new way of life! I imagine I'll have some someday, anyway.
I did manage to polish off that 50lb bag of popcorn before starting this!
You know, Steve and I eat the exact same things and I have lost FIVE pounds since starting this a week after he started. Just irritates me no end! LOL
The only difference I can see is that he exercises EVERY day during the work week during lunch...heavy duty too, jogging, tennis, mostly basketball with his co-workers. He's been doing this, but not loosing weight until he started Atkins. Now it's just falling off him at a rate of 2lbs per week.

Popcorn's actually lower in carbs than you might think... when I go to the movies, I usually steal a handful or two from a sib's bag.
Oddly, when I'm doing low-carb, I crave salty foods, which I never eat otherwise. Tortilla chips, popcorn, crunchy salty things are worse than sweets.

Well...he also had a lot more to lose! And he's a guy...they have an easier time of it. It's not fair. *snif*
I'm losing about half a pound to a pound a week lately...which is slow, but at least it's sure. And I haven't been exercising all that much. I imagine that would probably bring it to a steady pound a week, which would be enough for me to make my goal by the end of August. That's soon enough for me.
