Manchester was writing a 3 volume Biography of Curchill when he dies. This is the second volume. I hope they pick someone suitable to finish his notes for the 3rd volume.

I didn't know that .. I'll have to look for the first volume ..

It's pretty good and when looking at politics today compared to then .. many things sound familiar

How far along was he on his 3 volume?

I don't know. I think he had done the research, but had barely started on te writing.
