Since then my computer has been free of those problems and, according to the things I read, is much safer when it comes to making internet banking and credit card transactions. Also, the Mozilla just seems to have some great features that IE lacks.

I've reading a lot of good things about Mozilla .. I've just had so many problems the last few weeks, I'm afraid to do any changes just yet

I felt the same way and left IE on my computer just in case. Except to download yet another IE "security fix," I have not been back to IE since.

NOTE: I have (what is for me) a princely sum invested in Microsoft--so abandoning their browser is not something that I really wanted to do. But then again I like being hacked and being subject to internet theft even less. Thus the change.
