My dreams are bad enough as it sits.

Saw the Daniel Pearl video.
Didn't need to see the recent one.

Besides, it's bad enough dreaming about friends you know to be dead.
You tell them they're dead.
They say 'yeah, and?'
You tell them you miss them.
The dream seems more real than the 'waking world'.
You say that you don't want to leave.
They tell you that you must go back.
And without further argument, they wake you up.

And you wake straight up without being startled awake.
You're just instantly awake.
And wondering just what happened, where you are, and why you have this sense that the dream was, well, odd.
