Welcome.
Basically, it boiled down to a religion discussion, resty said something that someone got way too sensitive of because maybe their pride or ego was smarting, and she got suspended.
Actually, a large block of people on that thread got suspended.
It's an educational read, but infuriating as well.
Heck, even people who were disagreeing with those who were suspended said that it didn't look right for that to happen.

But I got an attack of the curiosity and wandered into the place to see what happened.

I think there are one or two mods who are thin-skinned and trigger happy, and there are a few FReepers who whine about everything and hit the abuse button for every imagined indisretion. A better plan would be to tell people to grow up and deal with it, but then it's not my call.
