My six year old granddaughter and my daughter dropped in for a visit a while ago. I was ironing. My granddaughter walks up to the ironing board and asks "what is that thing?". Pitiful, isn't it.

Just saw the eagle chick...Little grey fuzz ball next to the other egg...It stood up and then hunkered down again..

Saw this on cam 1 when Mom or Dad stood up for a few seconds.....

Both Mom and Pop are there now and one is feeding the little one....

Westy, thanks for the heads up. I went to cam2 and saw all of them...both eagles, the eaglet and the egg. Why, it looked like one of them was feeding the little fuzzball.

A couple of days after you told me about this eagle cam, I called one of my friends who is very active in the Audubon Society locally. I quit them years ago because of their political leanings to the left. She is really not very interested in computers, so I begged her to ask one of her sons find the cam and watch. She snootily tells me that she much prefers to see eagles in the wild. Yes, indeedy, every January the bird watchers here bundle up and freeze to death at a nearby primitive wildlife sanctuary, just to see an eagle through nocs. Her loss, I say. LOL

A fair number of eagles winter along the Skagit River north of here..One can drive up there and see some from one's car or take a boat down more of the river and see more....Don't really need binoculars to see them...I've seen a few along our little river here....The neat thing about the cam eagles is..they are in someone's back yard practically in town

I've been watching both the eagles and the falcons at the same time.....
