A most pleasant room there, Gran...very comfortable.

I'm working on ridding myself of twenty-five years of crap and stuff in the garage and storage shed...gak. Lots of stuff for Habitat and a local thrift store.

Deduction city.

Oh Loddy, let's not talk about ridding ourselves of crap. I can barely stand the thought. One of these days I'm going to give you a camera tour of the barn.

It will make you feel like a new man...:(

Mo.. what in the world did you get for a virus? I can't imagine that you are still fighting it.

I have heard a lot of good things about Mozilla and Firefox too, but I just don't know how to make the leap.

We will have to probe the Pup really hard and force him to open up more about it.;)

Didn't date much after that.
Especially since that is pretty much typical of what I attract.

Have a garage sale. One's junk is another's treasure. I had one last summer of over fifteen years accumulation of stuff. I like to sell better than giving to charity because I sell for much less than the charity stores. Also, I come down in price to almost nothing if I see someone who really needs it. I practically gave away all of my baby equipment that the grandkids had outgrown to a sweet young couple who were expecting their first child. They looked like they needed a break in life. And the best thing is that around here, dealers come around after a sale and offer to haul off everything you did not sell. Poof, it is gone.

You did line the currtains -- they look beautiful. With those swing arm rods, lining was a good idea.

Yes.. this time I did. The last ones I made for that room I didn't line, and I never liked the looks of them when they were open even tho they had a satin striped back.

I'd rather not have to line tho, as it's twice the work and all that extra measuring. It's nice to have an undercurtain and not have to. But in the summer it's a pain with them blowing in the wind. All they do is pick up dust and pollen..:(

It's too dang hot here to bother with having an all day ordeal: it's going into the back of the truck and going away. The thrift store where my MIL volunteers really does good work and prices their stuff at dirt cheap prices - heck, I've bought stuff there.

Perched high atop spires of conglomerated Calcerous and sandstone rock, the monasteries of Meteora are one of the world's most spectacular sacred sites. Paleolithic remains indicate settlements around the stones from between 100,000 to 40,000 BC, and hermits and ascetics have lived in the area since long before the Christian era. The arrival of Christianity began in the 8th century, organized monastic communities had developed by the 12th century, and by the mid 1500's twenty-four Greek Orthodox monasteries had been constructed upon the spires of stone.

I tried the Mozilla because of the IE security problems too. I liked it fine with the high speed, but it doesn't work with this dial-up service I have. I'm still waiting on the modem for dsl. Also, my pop-up stopper wouldn't work with it either. So, I went back to IE, for now.

And Spy-sweeper or Adaware won't take care of them? I assume it's from the kids excursions into the net?

Everytime the kids want to use a computer I tell them to use Al's. Of course I have to take care of his too..but he can go without his.. ahem...

They would take them off but they would came back on .. these buggers are in deep

I found them ... getting them off is another story .. I was able to block them with Zone Alarm .. but every once in a while they would pop through

There is one called searchfast .. and it would over ride my google searches .. and pissing me off in the process

I found one remover last night which found them and says it got rid of them .. but we shall see
