As far as Shrek, I think it looks lame, but I haven't seen it. There have been a couple of threads about Shrek II promoting transgenderism, but I don't know. Might be an informative discussion though. These are the same type clowns who think one of the Teletubbies (sp) is gay and that the Harry Potter books/movies promote Satanism.
From the bits of Shreck I have seen wandering thru the room while nephews watch, it is harmless and better than average kiddie fare.

"These are the same type clowns who think one of the Teletubbies (sp) is gay and that the Harry Potter books/movies promote Satanism" I had that little purple b*st*rd pegged for a queer long before Falwell said anything about it. As to Harry Potter, I never read the books, but the movies were all hype, in my opinion, and not worth the time. Probably harmless, but nothing to rave about either. Shrek just looks stupid to me. I will admit, if I don't like the looks of a character, I won't watch the movie. I felt the same way about the Toy Story movies. I just find the characters annoying.

"No telling what you think of the Smurfs then" I couldn't stand those little blue devils. Dawn subjected me to that torture for an hour and a half every Saturday morning when she was little. What annoying little creatures.

LOL. Oh, dear. hummmm. Did you click on that link and read the article ? It was vicious. She was ugly or snide about the clothes selected for the photo shoot, the twins, their friends, the priviledged circumstances of their heritage, the puff nature of the Vogue interview and the woman who wrote it. Heck, she even thinks their smiles are too pretty. FOFLOL.

I just got home from a Party for the President, too. The one I went to was about the same size as the first one and I believe they said we had more parties around town than last time. .... I was a little surprised by the good turnout especially considering that it was sweltering here today. We had an ozone alert because the air quality was so bad. Even now its still so hot and steamy, the heat index this afenoon was 103° and its at 95° now. I'm wilted. LOL
Anyhow, everyone really enjoyed themsselves. Before and after the conference call from Laura Bush at the White House tonight's host couple had a lifesize, free-standing cutout of President Bush set up for pictures. LOL That was a big hit, too.

She's just mad because Kerry's girls are as homely as he is. Sad the effect of being raised by democRATs. Hmmm....wonder if that could be considered child abuse?
