Yeah, sometimes. Actually, I like most things made with tomotoes. I just don't like raw tomatoes.

Weird. Me too.

I didn't like raw tomatoes until I got a taste of home-grown, vine ripened tomatoes. Now I just love them! And we've got lot of 'em growing right now. I'm having to give them away. It's mostly the cherry tomatoes and the Early Girls right now, but we'll have the Beefsteaks later on. Yow!

And are you going to put up pickled peppers this year?

*sigh* No peppers. They aren't growing at all. If I plan to grow them at all, we need to get a small green house. Apparently, they don't do well in this area unless they're grown in a greenhouse. I'll probably be looking for ways to preserve tomatoes - frozen salsa, for instance.

Tomato juice, spagetti sauce, catsup....my sister-in-law makes them all and has the greatest recipes, too.

I go to the local Farmer's Market fairly often in the summer. One fellow had a sign up for weeks that he'd have beefsteaks by the end of June, sure 'nuff, he didn't have many but they were very ripe and so yummy. I don't remember seeing them that early in the season before.

"Weird. Me too."

That is odd. I don't run across too many people who don't like tomatoes. I don't like mushrooms either.

That's the only kind we ever had.

I'm not hangin' around tonight - I'm pretty tired, and off to bed. We got a new bed delivered yesterday, upgraded from queen to California King, so I was out and about getting new bedding for it. Didn't get it done earlier, since I was in Idaho with my mom. She had surgery on July 1, but is doing well. Up and about, not in a lot of pain. I hated to leave, but my other sister lives about 30 miles away and will be checking in on her.

G'night, all.

"but having to come in contact with women that stupid has to be right up near the top."

Yeah, that is tough. After court on Tuesday the mom had a visit with the kids and had the nerve to question the quality of the foster home because one of the boys had bags under his eyes. I guess it never occurred to her that just maybe the boy was depressed and had been crying a lot because of the situation that SHE PUT HIM IN! DUH!!!!

Some things just don't look to me like God ever intended people to eat them.
