I think I'll just settle for using the silenced .22 on the rats then.. Once upon a time I was a Class III Federal Firearms Dealer. A silenced pistol gets louder with each shot as the internal elements heat and the wiper wears. About 2 really quiet shots is all you get at one time. A small bore rifle with a large silencer might get off 10 rounds before it is time to let it cool down.

A fabulous photo of the Bush twins from the August issue of Vogue.

Classic beauty, Jenna, in Oscar de la Renta, and Barbara, in Calvin Klein. Both are wearing jewelry from Harry Winston.

Ruger 10/22 with a brass empties bag?
Roughly 10 shots and it gets louder.., hmm..
Would that be enough to keep your wussified neighbors at bay from making noise complaints?

Would that be enough to keep your wussified neighbors at bay from making noise complaints? Used to have one. 1" x 18" tube filled with spiral diffusers over a turned down barrel. Looked just like a stock bull barrel. Worked just fine, but these days the ATF is just too much hassle to deal with.
If you want solids for small game like rats, use the CCI Stinger. It uses a light weight hollow point at very high (for a rimfire) velocity for very rapid expansion.

Wow! That is a beautiful picture. It looks more like a painting than a photograph.

Yes, it does, at that. It has great color, composition and beautiful lighting. Plus, the personalities shine through. Jenna is playful and chatty like her father. Barbara is somewhat reserved like her mother.

Yeah, it really does capture them. It's funny their personalities go one way, like you said, but I think Jenna looks more like her mom and Barbara looks more like her dad.

Do you, really ? ... I change my mind from picture to picture. LOL. I see features and expressions in both girls that remind me of the Prez and Laura.

I'm watching the CMA Music Festival and reading on FR, too. Music, all kinds and lots of it, may be the only way I'm gonna get through this election season. LOL. LeeAnn Rimes was just on and then Trace Atkins.

I'm having to watch something far less interesting....a video tape on cleaning up meth labs. I have to watch it for work.

They're, apparently, real down to earth, very warm and welcoming like their parents.

Oh, gosh. Would you ever have to clean up a meth lab ?

"Would you ever have to clean up a meth lab ?" No, but we do have to know the procedures. Actually, we are never even supposed to enter a known meth lab. We do have to know what to look for though. If a meth lab is busted and we have to take kids into custody, law enforcement calls us and they are responsible for securing the scene and getting the children out of the house. Apparently there are quite a few of them around the Ozarks.

Ok, very good, I see.:) I just couldn't imagine that being part of your job description. LOL It doesn't look as if meth labs are all that rare anywhere, any longer. Especially in rural areas.

Yeah, so it seems. One of my clients was arrested last week...out in the middle of the night with one of her kids and her felon boyfriend. The cops found $10,000 worth of and a gun in the car. They searched her house and found a large quantity of meth and a shotgun and another felon watching the other kid...(because of her record she's not supposed to have any dealings with felons and cannot have a firearm). Stupid woman tries to claim she didn't know whose it was.

"cops found $10,000 worth of* and a gun in the car.* $10,000 of what ? :) (just teasin', ya know me and typos. LOL)
The reasons I couldn't do what you do are to numerous to list but having to come in contact with women that stupid has to be right up near the top.
