Gran, your playful fantasies into the art world are amazing.

But sometimes there is no alternative.

Your thoughts are all right about this, and I'm not disagreeing with your ideas at all.

I do know that liberals have made a huge cultural change for about 25 to 30% of our country now. Happened during Vietnam times, and liberalism institutionalized it since. Way too many people........just look at "the 911 widows" for example......have bought the crapola about us being the evil in the world. They are viscerally anti-American, anti-military, anti-free market. Heck you have some fringe conservatives you could say are like that.

As long as we don't need the draft, I think Val is right that bringing it back would ruin our armed forces, our morale, and give a huge lift to our enemies (foreign and domestic......DNC) for protest, etc. It's the Dems that are talking about it spearheaded by Charlie Rangel and probabaly Slick. They're the ones that want this to happen.

Right now, at least the armed services are saying it, we are meeting our recruiting needs and goals........a great sign.

It's unfortunate that we have such ugliness in the "disloyal" opposition........ most liberals have truly become deranged IMHO.

Ok Babe.. I just spilled boiling hot juice from the rice in the micro. It tipped as I was taking it out. I have burnt my left breast and down my belly to my waist..

I pulled my clothes out as fast as I could but I'm pretty red and hurting. Have been soaking in ice cold clothes to take out the heat.

No blisters so far, but it's hurtin like all hell.. Anything else I should be doing. Naturally it's like all steam or hot water burns and is feeling worse as it sets in..

Babe,I have to put ice in the water here to make it cold eonouh. Just using the cold rung out cloth..
Will send Al to the drugstore after he eats.. They might have something for burns.

No blisters yet, but it's really red and hot.. I hate these kinds of burns.. and the skin there is so tender, you know?

Yes, it is a tender place for a burn, grannie. If you don't think it is serious enough for an ER visit, then maybe Al can look for a ointment with Aloe Vera as an ingrediant. It is soothing to burns and helps healing.

grannie, you wouldn't happen to have a real Aloe Vera plant, would you? If so, just break of a stem and apply the juice.

Well, be careful what you spray on the burn. You don't want it to intensify the pain, if it is not the right choice.
