I love the word misunderestimated...I use it all the time now!..as in " I misunderestimated how much semi-gloss paint I was going to need for my painting project..."

Loddy . . . I've read every post on FReeoples . . . and . . .DD . . . and even some on LP . . . I know exactly where you're coming from, and it ain't pretty . . . I think that you need to drop your "out of state" friends and start voting like a Texan again. . . . do you remember how??? . . .It goes like this, If you can't vote for somebody, you vote against them . . . you don't vote for some "looney tunes" who dosen't have a snowball's chance in HELL of winning or changing anything!!!

OH, and by the way, the "MOOSElimbs" as you call them, are our #1 enemy right now . . . and I intend to be standing long after they've been defeated, By George!!!!

Hi Westy. How are you this evening? I'm waiting for it to stop storming this evening so that I can pull garbage can up the driveway to the curb. Hubby is out of town.

Tell me if this is true, Westy. I read a study once on depressed folks in different cities in the USA. It listed Seattle as one of the highest because of the rainy weather. I remember reading that this was because when the sun shone, the residents realized what they were missing. LOL

I don't know if we are more depressed here than other places, but reckon we probably drink more coffee per capita than most any place in the US....lol..I think the pressure change effects me...Don't get depressed, just sleepy....

.....Westy....

Red flags fly over Baghdad Iraqi Communists get U.S. support in role in new interim government

The Iraqi Communist Party is strongly represented in the new interim government in Baghdad and is getting U.S. taxpayer support thanks to a U.S. group led by former Secretary of State Madeleine hALf-bright, reports Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, the premium, online intelligence newsletter published by WND.

I'll need some luck.
The Heinz Ketchup commercials are coming to mind.
Wonder if there was some sort of subliminal message about the ketchup and how slow it was coming out of the bottle.

Subject: Friends

Around the corner I have a friend,

In this great city that has no end,

Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,

And before I know it, a year is gone.

And I never see my old friends face,

For life is a swift and terrible race,

He knows I like him just as well,

As in the days when I rang his bell.

And he rang mine but we were younger then,

And now we are busy, tired men.

Tired of playing a foolish game,

Tired of trying to make a name.

"Tomorrow" I say! "I will call on Jim

Just to show that I'm thinking of him."

But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,

And distance between us grows and grows.

Around the corner, yet miles away,

"Here's a telegram sir," "Jim died today."

And that's what we get and deserve in the end.

Around the corner, a vanished friend.

Remember to always say what you mean.

If you love someone, tell them.

Don't be afraid to express yourself. Reach out and tell someone

what they mean to you. Because when you decide that it is the right

time it might be too late.

Seize the day. Never have regrets. And most importantly, stay

close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the

person that you are today.
