Seen them on TV... They can even pick up crushed cans, etc. Maybe they will pick up small toys like Leggos? No power, you just push and it has big sweeping brushes in the front..
You can probably use it in the house if you have kids.. lol.

Aren't your girls old enough now for their own computer? Just put it in a location where you can constantly monitor them on the internet. They do have their own computer and have been using computers since they were about 2 1/2
They say their computer is too slow and they like mine better
I told Jess to save her money and buy a new one .. LOL

All my kids did that when they were little .. never could understand why it freaked them out so .. but it did come in handy when they were being really really bad *L*

"we just had several California quail and their babies come down the hill and into the garden" I will miss the birds when I move. I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of birds where I'm going, but you get attached. All the mama and papa birds have recently introduced the little ones to the birdfeeders. We have a family of cardinals, a couple of kinds of woodpeckers (huge things they are), blue jays and several others. Yesterday I made Budge get a birdfeeder so he could keep them fed when I leave. (We share a yard).
