Oh, I am sure that if they are armed and white and Christian...they will be burned to ashes the same as the Davidians.

These people did some pretty nasty stuff. Still, since Clinton declared war on them, leads me to think that it was a diversion....one of many. I don't believe that Clinton ever did anything without there being something in it for him.

Well, the Davidians were armed, but they were of all races and several nationalities and not Christian.

HELLO!! I've missed you guys. My computer has been on the fritz for quite a while, and I just hadn't bothered to get it fixed. My nephew offered to fix it for me, so I sent it to him. He replaced the mother board, and updated it to Windows XP professional. My only problem now is that I need new drivers for my printer and scanner, as I got them before XP came out. Oh well...

I now also have a new ISP - I signed up for and installed the Yahoo DSL - it's only $26.95/month right now, such a deal.

I've missed you guys - this is a hit and run post, however. We haven't had dinner yet, so I'm going to go broil some salmon and make a salad with stuff from our garden. It's doing very nicely, but I'm already sick of zucchini!

The EE I would say exist more in the various Universities and think they have a calling!

Like Prof Quiggley Hope and Tragic I think in that book it also mentions Islam and that book was written in the 60's on the NWO!

Quiggley

http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a6324.htm

Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time
Carroll Quigley
New York: Macmillan, 1966 http://www.alpheus.org/html/reviews/parapolitics/rev_tragedy_hope.html

Quligy and Islam
Topic: The True Agenda
What do the Socialists Want?
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a362fe0561d20.htm

Quigley gives one example of the deception:

".. .bankers, as creditors in money terms, have been obsessed with maintaining the value of money, although the reason they have traditionally given for this obsession - that "sound money" maintains "business confidence" - has been propagandist rather than accurate." And

"Inflation, especially a slow steady rise in prices, encourages producers, because it means they can commit themselves to costs of production on one price level and then, later, offer the finished product for sale at a somewhat higher price level." (p. 46-47)

Such a situation is usually best for working people, while "price stability" the Federal Reserve's 1990s mantra, has been really good for paper manipulations, but bad for the average working man.

Whether Quigley is discussing central banking and the onset of the Great Depression; or developments in inter war Germany; or conditions in Japan just before Truman decided to use nuclear weapons; the reader feels a confidence in Quigley's knowledge of behind the scenes facts and analysis which probably never made it into the newspapers of the day.

Reading from page 1200 on, one is struck by the accuracy of Quigley's projections on present day events and problems. The effects of a fully professional army for example, in changing wars from the bloody all out citizen soldier efforts of the Civil War, WW1 and WW2, to wars where casualties are avoided at almost any cost. Quigley tells us in 1964, to expect warfare where leaders like Saddam Hussein are left in control, to avoid inconvenient power vacuums.

No eggplant yet, they're just now blooming. But we've had lemon cucumbers, and it looks like we're going to have a zillion more! We've had a few tomatoes, but once it gets really hot and stays that way, we're going to have more than I know what to do with. The lettuce is about done now.

I went to Lexmark's website and downloaded drivers for XP, got it up in running in no time! I really didn't want to buy a new printer.

Hiya .38 - great to see you again.

There were several of these walking stick bugs around the set yesterday - the body of this one was about 6 inches long

I got this in an email from my cousin

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

Yesterday, the director also played a role in the movie, he was the suspect. (Can't say more) Real deputies were there, using real cars, so when he was arrested, put into the back seat, the door slammed shut, no one could yell "Cut!" because the door locked him in. It was funny. I can't remember his last name, but the actor/director's first name is Kingsley.
