Is that a normal zoomie acomplishment for a band member?

I don't know, Swervie. I thought all band members were recruited just for their musical talent. Once I almost bought a house from a married couple who were both musicians and both had been recruited by the U.S Army for its band. I always just assumed that this was standard practice for all the bands.

Looks like I discovered some DEluxe Arkansas accomodations....and look how close the bathroom is to the house! And check out that wrap around porch. It even comes with the 2 little American flags. Nully, surely this will entice you to Arkansas.

Looks great! Too bad about the porch, though ... no room under it for the dogs to hang out in the summer.

Well silly, you gotta dig a hole for that....or at least get one started. The dogs can finish it.

I suppose, but it just doesn't seem proper for a dog to have to excavate its spot under the porch. Is there no sense of etiquette any more?

One thing I wish the darn media would stop doing is repeating that he is the adopted son of Ronald Reagan

Michael is more like his father then then Ron and Pattie are

My brother had 3 adopted children .. they are his kids and he is their father .. plain and simple

I had heard earlier in the week that she had said that she didn't plan to attend. Perhaps she changed her mind. I haven't been able to follow events as closely as I would have liked to although I did watch in the evenings at the hotel.

She might have been asked not to attend and she could be very ill?

I saw Michael cross himself so I wonder if RWR was ever Catholic?

The way that it was worded was that she said something like "that was in the past" and that she had no plans to attend.

About the bands...the Presiden't Own is the Marine Corps Band in Washington DC and the musicians are that...they are given a rank. And they are expected to meet the hight and wt standards. However the Bands such as the 3RD Marine Air Wing Band are regualr Marines ( all Marines are riflemem first) and they have a regular speciality. The band is another feature of their duty.

I am not sure how it works in the other services or if the Singing Sgts are like our President's Own..perhaps someone out there can answer that.

By the way the Sunset Service was wonderful...all 3 of the children gave terrific tributes. I felt so badly for Nancy after Taps...it is the first time I saw her actually break down...and who could blame her. I would have been behind sunglasses the whole time and she wasn't. She is quite a lady...

Michael sure is more like his dad..and he has not done anything to disgrace the name he is so proud to have.

I thought it was pretty tacky that his first wife chose not to attend.

President Reagan's first wife? Jane Wyman was there. She is crippled and nearly blind, but she was there.
