Well, I've got 4 places to go see when I get off. Every one in a different town (there are a lot of little townships around here). The one in Cotter sounds promising....and that's within a mile of the White River. Wish me luck!
I believe Bob Dole said that the out pouring of love and respect from the people showing their to Reagan ... was a liberals worse nightmare
Well, he can grin all he wants until Hilarily has him eliminated because she doesn't need him anymore.
Luck!
The service for PResiedent Reagan was wonderful this morning. And today in CA we have lovely weather for his sunset service. I was glad to see Michael in the row with the rest of the family. One thing I wish the darn media would stop doing is repeating that he is the adopted son of Ronald Reagan. As an adoptee myself that is a remark that is actually rather hurtful..it is as if to say..an adoptee is not really a member of the family. Hells Bells..we know that..we don't need someone to point it out all the time as if we forget we are second class citizens..but that is another topic for another day...
WINGS...so glad to see you back in the playground. Where have you been you bad boy?
By saying adoptees are second class citizens I am referring to the way we are treated when we try to find out anything about our biological background..the courts have our records slammed shut to us tighter than a gnats a$$ but everyone in the court can know what we are not allowed to know....that is why you have not seen me on the threads lately..been doing digging in that area and it cost a pretty penny to find out names and get some medical information that the rest of the world takes for granted.
Simply contrasting Reagan and 'toon should send the libs to the nearest shower rod.
All this week we have been remembering the words and beliefs of Ronald Reagan. Today, in our final installment, the 40th President talks about God's faithfulness and love.
"Our mission stretches far beyond our boarders, God's family knows no boarders. In your life, you face daily trials, but millions of believers in other lands face far worse--they are mocked and persecuted for the crime of loving God.
To every religious dissident trapped in that cold cruel existence, we send our love and support. Our message---you are not alone--you are not forgotten--do not lose your faith and hope because someday you too will be free.
If the Lord (applause) if the Lord is our light our strength and our salvation, whom shall we fear? Of whom shall we be afraid? No matter where we live, we have a promise that can make all the difference, a promise from Jesus to sooth our sorrows, heal our hearts and drive away our fears.
He promised there will never be a dark night that does not end, our weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. He promised if our hearts are true, His love will be as sure as sunlight and by dying for us--Jesus showed how far our love should be ready to go...all the way.
"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (applause).
Good luck.
Good luck.
Is that a normal zoomie acomplishment for a band member?

Americans Still Love Ronald Reagan

I am adopted and was reminded often when I was growing up!
My adopted mother spoke how I done for you or your just like your mother, when I was threathen to return me if I did not do as she wanted and no one would love me.
here we are misfits in the world.
It's fixin' to air again on CSPAN. I'm SO glad. I really wanted to see it. I was pretty irritaterd that the state offices here didn't close. Missouri's did, and our governor went to the funeral. It pretty much sucked. No TV, radio or anything. I guess I could have had it on the computer, but my copmputer at work doesn't have speakers yet.
I totally agree, CG. It is like the media looks for any way they can to get theri digs in, no matter who it hurts. It was one of the ways they were able to distract from the events. RATs! All of them! An adoptee is every bit as much a part of the family...sometimes more. I have seen an awful lot of kids that have natural parents that aren't worth a damn. I wonder if the issue with the family is more that he was the son of the first marriage. I thought it was pretty tacky that his first wife chose not to attend.
