"for the first time in memory, my inbox has no mortgage, extender, or get-your-drugs-here messages!" That sounds like something I desperately need.

"try to feel better for the get together with Jim Robinson" Looking forward to the pictures. Have fun. I know you will. The Robinson's are delightful.

Not a bad description of southern barbecue, Loddy, for a Texan. ;-)

"Not stupid, just showing a certain sexual naivete unexpected in a married woman." So now it's sexual, as well as religious?

"I was just over looking at some of the photos of the FReepers meeting with the Robinsons on their tour." We had such fun with the Robinson's. It was definitely an event we will all remember fondly.

Ray Charles was born in Sept. 1930.
I remember reading a book abou him, and his birthdate was never completely nailed down. His childhood was unreal.
This was just posted on another thread:
Yesterday at the gate:
St. Peter: "Okay, I want you to move those purple mountains within sight of the gate, and get me some amber waves of grain right over here. And a Georgia landscape over there."
Junior angel: "Why all the work, boss?"
St. Peter: "Ray could make other people see those things. Now, it's his turn."
Thanks for the old sweet songs, Mr. Charles!

I would offer up that the pork tenderloin, is the highest and the best cut of swine flesh. But then, I like it all: chops, thin or thick, bacon, ham - it's all great.
