Hello Ringy.
Rainy season has hit us here. I walked to the mailbox today, and Yoda followed me like he always does, but then he noticed the pavement was wet, so he started meowing and shaking his paws after every step. I had to pick him up and carry him to the mailbox and back home because he just can't stand to get his paws wet.

Awwwwww Val, that is so cute.
My Molly is so dignified now. She thinks she is real pretty. Hams it up for every photograph. She is such a Dear, sleeps with me every night and is just such a Lady. She still herds Bess and they fight. :( I think it's a pretend fight as Bess hand feeds her every night. :) Cooks for Molly and is always fretting to see she gets what she needs. Bess supervises Molly's daily exercise program and makes certain she is taken care of.
Bess would never admit it, but I think she likes Molly a little.

Lord love a duck, I was just thinking of you in the last few days. I need your advice.
My husband got a promotion in his company. But, I should have been careful what I wished for, really.
I had forgotten for years what wives have to endure in corporate social settings. I just know that you know what I mean. Now, I must do that again and I dread it, as I have forgotten my corporate manners and protocol. I need a refresher course, Ringy. LOL
Long ago when I was in this position, I was appalled that men and women wanted to shake hands, quite firmly, upon being introduced. Southern women would rather not shake hands, would you not agree? But, I became accustomed to it, finally. And then began the kissy kissy cheek to cheek of women to each other. I became accustomed to it also. So fake, it was.
So, anyway, I have to do it again. Any tips of the new protocol of trying to maintain sanity while at these corporate functions without making a serious blunder?

Afraid so. I try to stay off threads that will get me over excited but I didn't abide by my rules. I love horse racing. If things go the way I'd like... Oh well, we'll see but I do love to see the ponies run, and I hear the Derby calling me. LOL.
