Oh jeeeze Val, I have four windows hung, the upstairs front hall and what I call the upstairs middle room, but my bedroom is all pulled apart, changing bedding completely, cleaning and hanging curtains in there, etc.

Al was helping, but naturally someone needed him more than I did.. :( Now he's over Sherri's house drilling holes in bricks..

Well.. at least I might get the bedskirts and mattresses back on later, so we can sleep in the beds tonight.

Back upstairs I guess and shift some more laundry. I AM NOT COOKING SUPPER TONIGHT!!

It's so funny. In the Stepford Wives remake Nicole Kidman plays the role of Joanna Eberhart - my maiden name is Eberhardt.

Good grief Mo.. You and Al should live together, so you could make the rest of us tired all the time.

I guess being as thin as you two are might have something to do with it. ;)

When I over-exercise I tend to swell.. lol lol lol...Damn!

Some days I think that cashing it all in and living on a cruise ship would be the way to go...all the "stuff" that we gather 'round us, is just that - stuff...we filled a forty cubic yard dumpster with stuff, of my folks, and the house is still full and awaiting an appraiser/seller type person. Crypes.

I have acquaintances that just about live on a cruise ship all winter. What a way to go I suppose.. Although all that food and the salt in it would do me in.

My daughter and her husband just booked a week in Isla Mujeres off the coast of Cancun for a week in Feb. It is giving me a great urge to go back. $400.00 dollars for the week and cheap air-only fares. Nothing but white sand, pure turquoise 83 degree water, and golf carts to get around in. I am dreaming, wildly.

I love that area, and can still feel it in my blood. Wish I could get cheap airfare in FL.. It costs twice as much as from Boston.. *^&%$#..

I am going to keep it in mind tho.. ;)

This is the little shack on the beach that they're renting.

That will give them something to look forward to all summer and fall.

In my days of youth when having adult bevs. and late nights I would have Out of Body Experice (OBE), talk to the dead, and also watched a friend of mine leave this world in a dream.

My first OBE was being awaken and can't move my body, yet I was elsewhere outside myself looking at my self. I could not screame it was distrubing.

Another time a friend was dying of cancer and I had this vivid dream of him floating in and out out the ceiling I would also float with him but never went beyond the ceiling toward the end I was standing near his bed telling him to come down he would hurt himself. He said it was ok and not to worry (another OBE) that morn I got a call he had died!

At this time I was living in Michigan in Grosse pointe I had rented am apt in one of those beautiful houses that was converted into about 8 apt.

The first OBE happen in the sunproch on the second floor about 3 blocks away where one of my girl friends had rented an apt and I crashed there. This took place with in that same year but before I moved into my apt in that area.

When I ponder that time it makes me wonder if on that land was not an Indian burial, or where a battle took place it was the first time I was receptive to this realm.

The other one took place in NYC.

I was talking to a person who I was NOT aware he had been dead for a week.

Interesting...my niece and her two boys just returned from somewhere near there that featured sleeping quarters up in the trees, if you chose, or simple cabins with thatch roofs. Now she's all geeked about dropping out of school and moving down there "for a year."

We all hope she gets back on her meds, soon.

So far, I have never had any OBE's or chatted with dead folks, but I don't disbelieve that it can happen...thanks for sharing your experiences here.

This is the Newsday site that lists all headline AP stories.
It is the best place I have found for balanced Reagan Stories so far.

Associated Press

He was "Dutch" Reagan, the radioman. He was "the Gipper," forever asking voters to win one more for him. His eyes glistened when he heard the national anthem. He was comfortable with himself. He was sunny. He kept short office hours and joked about it. Yes, he said, it was true that hard work never killed anyone, "but, I figure, why take the chance?"

Thanks for the good linkage - appreciate it.
