How time DOES FLY by us...goodness.
To: lodwick
You gotta admit, that is a BIG 6 year old. Well, he'll be 7 in a month, but he's big for 7 too.

Overburden of deer in my area.
Makes for some interesting hikes at times.
"What's that smell?" -hiking companion getting the grand tour of some area I drag people through.
"Deer. That's what it is. Try not to breathe for a few, you'll be fine in a bit." -response.

I wish a deer would have wandered into this picture
To: ValerieUSA
Would've been nice with one facing to the left while standing to the right of center.
UNless it was a pic of one deer tripping over another one in it's haste to get away from the 'humans', thus making the other deer look around with a 'what? what?' look.

Oh goodness gracious, we did not crap in the woods. We just emptied a little pee pee far from the camping site. Actually, it was not a congested yankee site, but a private campground with large and spacious lots. And the owners had no laws nor mandates of collecting our grey water into containers and taking it to the dumps station. So, I washed my dishes and the water drained out right into the ground from our hose. How aghast would the environmentalist be to know that we do that in Missouri?

Well, if I knew that I wouldn't camp there...BWDIK

So, Baja has a dump station every couple of miles? I am curious.
To: Conservababe
Not every few miles, but every RV Park has at least a dump Station....Even some of the camping beaches have dump stations....In the old days long timers use to get a 55 gallon or so plastic barrel, drill a bunch of holes in it, then bury it in the sand and run their dump hose into it...Worked okay when there were only a few doing it, but it got so bad the beachs got polluted and the clams uneatable, but then you don't like clams, so that wouldn't matter....

Oh my, I know nothing about the rubber band clams demise.
But, I will empty my grandkids peepee into the ground off from other campsites. It is just a delicate yankee distaste that would consider it not okay.
I presume that a beer drinking deer hunter in the woods would piss more than I emptied.
Did you shit and piss in an outhouse, Westy? Some primitive campgrounds still have them. Oh, my, they are polluting the water and such, no?
To: Conservababe
Depends on the location of the outhouse....Remember I lived back in the days when most houses, even in town, had outhouses....In fact I never lived in a house with a flush john till I came down to Seattle to work for Boeing in 1941....

Oh, Westy, you befuddle me. Sometimes you are a free spirit in Baja...and sometimes a liberal in Seattle.
I love you, you old goat. LOL
To: Conservababe
Would you crap on a place like this???
Two of us could stay here for a week before we had to find an RV park...Water was the limiting factor...We would go into town, dump the tanks and refill the water tank.....

I don't have a fancy cassette toilet and don't have the room for one. What I would do, in that site, is shovel a latrine and make do. Sorry if that offends you, Westy.
To: Conservababe
Back away from the beach there is a flush toilet, only you have to bail the water out of a stone tank like structure..

Westy, I will leave with this statement. You not as conservative as you think and perhaps your daughter is not as liberal as you think. Talk.....
To: Conservababe
How aghast would the environmentalist be to know that we do that in Missouri? Those people have a problem taking a shower semi regularly .. what do you think
