I didn't watch the video, but others have said that. But SOMEBODY was killed, and had his head sawn off. Another thing: The guy in the video is dressed in an orange jumpsuit. The photo of the headless body on the bridge is clothed in what appears to be regular street clothes. Did the terrorists dress him after they cut his head off? Lots of strange stuff here.
Hi, doing good.been busy with house guests..everyone is gone now so I have time for other things...like yard work yuck.
Val..great pics of flowers.
little inserts so you can read? Maybe an eyecheck up would be better and then get some neat progressive lens..no lines and ya can see real good too.
I need special specs for the computer..and I like them..slightly tinted and cuts the glare.\
Got to say that when I am doing genealogy things some census reports are so hard to read that I have a spy glass that I look through..LOL
I won't get another dog cause I just couldn't go thru that trauma again.

Go to the nearest pound and let another critter steal your heart...Jimmy would want you to save, and love, another of his buds.
Nothng looks with you with the look of love, as your beloved pound dog - they all know that the jig is up for them, unless there is human intervention...they do know.
Well I had my eyes checked last Dec and last month decided to get new lens..the prescription was wrong...
About the murder of NIck Berg...there seems to be interesting things coming out in the news. Did you see FNews tonite when Col Hunt said he thinks the US should provide security for civilians over there. I don't know how they military can be expected to do that and wage a war at the same time yet I understand the need for the civilian contracotrs to assist.
But NIck was warned not to travel alone which he did..he was offered transportation out and he declined the military offer and said he was going out by way of Turkey or JOrdan or Kuwait...
Michael Berg, lefty or whatever, has to cowboy up and understand that his son made a choice to be in Iraq and when offered the transportation out declined. HIs son made the choice and sad to say lost his life as a result...the onus is not on Rummy or Bush or the military or anyone else.
The developements of the email addy is interesting. Perhaps the screaming by michael berg and family is to diver attention from other areas that need looking at. Time will tell.
I don't know about the email addy. Guess I missed that one. Yeah, interesting stuff cropping up.
Hubby just watched the Berg beheading video. He said that he would have expected more blood. It is possible that he was dead before they cut off his head.
Might be a good business investment for someone who was so inclined.
the 1960/70's ??
Was that when the sleeping around and shooting up started????
Yep I sure missed that time...Any idea how many tons of drugs the country uses per year???
.....Westy...
Yep .. and I don't know the answer about the drugs
Westy, this is not your war. It is our grandchildren's war to win or perish.
We don't have uniformed enemies to fight. We have terrorists.
And we shall win.

Ask swervy the drug questions. He's the thread drug expert, now that ratty isn't around to challenge him.
The shortage is not in oil, but refinery capacity. You can thank your friendly neighborhood envionmentalist for that. It has become almost impossible to get a permit to build a refinery.
You need a certain amount of surplus refining capacity so you can shut down refineries for repair and maintainance. Demand has grown, capacity has not, and everyone is running at over 95% capacity. No one is able to properly maintain things under that load. A major fire or explosion at a large refinery, and we might be looking at $10.00/gallon.

PHILADELPHIA - (KRT) - The day he buried his son, Nick Berg's father angrily lashed out at President Bush - and said he had a question for him:
. "I would like to ask him if it's true that al-Qaeda offered to trade my son's life for another person," Michael Berg told a small group of reporters early Thursday morning outside his West Chester home.
"And if that is true, well, I need that information," said Berg, a self-proclaimed peace activist who has marched against the Iraq war. "I think that the people of the United States of America need to know what the fate of their sons and daughters might be in the hands of the Bush administration.",p> In the video showing Nick Berg's decapitation, one of the masked men read a statement that Berg had been offered in exchange for some Iraqi prisoners. U.S. officials deny that.
. Berg said he did NOT blame the terrorists for his son's violent death.
"Nicholas Berg died for the sins of George Bush and Donald Rumsfeld," he said, shortly after posting a "War is not the Answer" sign on his front lawn. . "The al-Qaeda people are probably JUST AS BAD AS THEY ARE, but this administration did this."
Hi Gran,
Great photos of Jimmy...neat-looking kid. That's the way the wife and I refer to our girls, as our kids....kids that don't need new shoes, the latest Britney trashy outfit, or have dreams of going to Hawvard. Kind of the ideal young-uns.
Just moved down from the mountain after a hectic season. Will be planning now for the trip home in June and July. (Actually I began planning for the trip home last August...about 10-minutes after I stepped off the plane down here.
Cheers
LOL.. GOOD MORNING CUTTN. Good to see your post.
Noooo.. Jim didn't need new shoes, or sexy Jeans, but he sure used the hairdresser a lot.. Skunks and Jim had an affinity for each other. ;) Maybe because of their fur?
Oh you must be just thrilled about your trip home. I hope you have a fantastic couple months, weather-wise and all.
Your family and friends will be so excited to see you again..
Keep in touch and let us know all the news..
And we shall win."
Not if the democRATs have anything to say about it.
ROTFL! I think I'll send that one around.
