"I remember watching a show about this .. I think it was on the history channel about haunted houses" Entirely possible. This was taken in the lobby of the Crescent Hotel.

Mornin', Gran! Great pic. I wish I could get pictures that good of my birds. We have a blue jay that just took up residence while we were on vacation and he terrorizes Nermal. Sad, but kinda funny seeing a big ol' cat intimidated by this little fussy bird. Hehehe...

She has 2 tatoos, both small. One of them is visible in a couple of the pictures. She isn't sticking her tongue out in any of the pictures, so her tongue piercing doesn't show. Why would you mention it? Did I ever mention it before? I don't remember.
Here's the link to the album if you want to see the rest.

*shrug* I'm in California. Just not used to seeing so much unadorned skin on someone of her generation, I guess...

Oh. Hehe... Well, I never encouraged that sort of thing...not that my opinion really mattered once she turned 18.

Tell me about it. Mine's 15.
I see one "cut here" tattoo as a guide for when she has her appendix out...

They go astray it seems, despite our best efforts. Dawn just announced on this trip that she is moving in with her boyfriend.....because she doesn't want to make another mistake by rushing into another marriage. Aaaaccchhhh! And just when she was seeming to get her act together in some other areas. There is just something inherently flawed in her "logic." Then she tells me that I should respect her decision. Well, I said, "you are an adult and you are responsible for your own decisions and their outcomes. You know what I think and how I feel about this and it isn't going to change. You're my daughter and I love you no matter what you do, but it doesn't mean that when I think you're dead wrong about something that I'm not going to tell you that and this is one of those times." I left it at that. I think I made my point.

Quotes & Toasts 0f The Day - Mothers Day
"Neurotics build castles in the air, psychotics live in them. My mother cleans them. - - - - Rita Rudner
An ounce of mother is worth a pound of priests. - - - - Spanish Proverb
The commonest fallacy among women is that simply having children makes them a mother - which is as absurd as believing that having a piano makes one a musician. - - - - Sydney J. Harris
Good luck with it, moms (and dads).
