Grannie that IS my worry. However, we are going in armed so to speak. For one thing, just a look at his witness list is laughable. And we have our family physician who is also his physician, subpoened. We also have a letter of apology (if you can believe it) from the Ministry of Children and Families. He reported Marlise FIVE times thereby risking that this Ministry scoop the children and place them in a foster home while they figured out what the hell was going on. He reported her as beating the kids, neglecting the kids, being a drug addict and a drunk, she had to go through several "surprise" drug tests and on and on. And this deadbeat is walking into court with a Lawyer while my daughter has to represent herself. It's rediculous but our other witnesses besides myself are two ladies that are both licenced to work in the Ministry of Human Resources. But I do pray we get don't get a woman Judge. The Lawyer that she had until he found out it was going to be full blown trial, said that the Judges are used to "seeing" these deadbeats every single day. My one hope tho is that he has NOTHING to prove he's disabled. He has no medical evidence, he has nobody from Medicare on his list or in his list of documents, nothing!! I actually am going to try and videotape him working because we KNOW he is. In fact, one of her witnesses, had her husband's truck fixed about a month ago by guess who? But this stuff is so awful it's like wading around in a $hit pit!! No other way to say it. It's disgusting.

LOL - Don Cherry is one guy from Ontario that is GREAT. He thinks like us. btw the Liberals are in big trouble here. They have dropped like a rock in the polls because of all the scandals being exposed. Martin can't catch a break because he was there as Finance Minister the whole time. The Canadian Conservative Party are only 6 points behind the Liberals in ONTARIO???? Ya think it's possible that Ontario might wake up? I sure hope so.

Honestly Jude, I'd like to "put him out of his misery - Permanently"!! I am very aware how Liberal the Courts are. The only think I can say is that he has lost every single time they have gone to court so far. And the Ministry of Children and Families is usually under fire for improperly scooping children. To get an apology and to be told that the complaints were malicious is quite a feat.

First off, the Judge himself may question, "how is this guy paying Lawyer huge $$ if he's too disabled to work and the young lady works FULL time and supports both children and has to represent herself? Very logical question don't you think. And yeah, he's ASKING for her to pay HIM!!

Had a busy day taking pictures at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in South Austin this morning with a group from a photography forum I visit often. Woooeeee ... do some people have super nice cameras and lenses! I was definitely out of my league as far as equipment - but they were all nice and talked to me anyway.

Well I wish you and your daughter luck Lynn. It's scary to have a court case today. You just can't depend on common sense judgements anymore. They started going so far to the fathers side, that a lot of women lost their kids, only for it to look equal. I hope it's swinging back and starting to get fair.

Omg Lynn.. you have no idea how many times I wished that man walked out into his back yard at hunting season and looked like a Deer.. I used to pray he never had the good sense to wear an orange vest.. ;)

He's still a loser..and he hasn't changed his spots.. (wish those spots look like a new Doe) Ahhh.. guess it's too late in the season for that to work.. lol The Does's lose their spots before hunting season up where we are... :(
