Prayer Update: My daughter had her 3 week check yesterday.
The avulsed bone has nearly healed, but new x-rays revealed that the growth plate at the base of the fibula was indeed fractured.
BUT:
It also appeared that the plate was "re-knitting" itself back into the fibula bone.
SO:
They recasted her foot, because they want to go the "full 6 weeks" to give that plate ample time to recalcify and heal.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers, and I ask again for continued prayers that the bone will heal without any problems.
