Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

So any story to tell about the Turkey hunt? Those can be crafty little buggers from what I hear.

Checkin' in.... nothing yet, really, but they're sure talking up Toomey (the good guy). It might be a long night. Oh, I'm typoing everywhere... I only had half a glass of champagne.
No anime tonight, it seems.

Nice catch! You're welcome to the ones in the backyard here, too--LOL! Just heard today 500 turkeys have been killed in this county and the adjacent one so far.

No anime tonight, it seems.Another half a glass of champagne and you'll be seeing anime in your head, LOL! :) So how conservative is Toomey?

According to Specter, "He's not far right, he's far out". Which is what I call an endorsement.
He could make Santorum the liberal senator from PA.

Evenin' folks. Been stayin' up tryin' to catch the PA results on the Yahoo site. What a pain.
Told some of ya in the chat that we had another Jr. meltdown tonite. Apparently we ruined his life by telling him he had to clean his room and that, no he and his friends that are coming Friday night cannot go out in the woods behind our house after dark and shoot paintball guns.
Had another "here I don't want this stuff" scene, including the new paintball gun.
I need somebody what's done raised teenagers to tell me how many more years I got afore he morphs back into a human being...sigh...
