How many out there use their real names here? (vanity)
Posted on 03/24/2004 5:30:06 AM PST by Peter J. Huss
Just wondering. I switched a little while back, mainly because I didn't see why I should hide behind a fake name.
When I started using my real name, I was a wee bit more careful about what I posted.
Anyone care to chime in on this? Am I being foolhardy?

Considering that I have a very uncommon last name, I don't use it here.
To: Peter J. Huss
Of course I do, "Mr Huss"!

I think I'll pull a Prince move and just be "the poster formerly known as ZinGirl" and use a picture

I use the name that my Grandaughter gave me some years back.
She's happy with it. So I am too.

"Revolting cat!" used to be the real name, but Revolting cat! has since been outsourced. (It's called free trade, don't you know, it's good for the country, no job lasts forever, people need to acquire new skills, you are a Communist!) My real name is Santosh S. Santoshchekharsathyanarayana.

Posting under my real name would be quite useful for those who wish to blacklist me! (I live in a democratic stronghold, and the anonimity is quite useful.)

Actually, I like this one so much I'm thinking of having my real name legally changed to William T. Drill. Thing is, when you do that the FBI wants to charge you to cover the cost of changing all those wanted posters.

I think it's your middle name that's so unusual :-)
Oh wait, Pete Montana, Doug Upland, Scott LeftCoast, Andy Beaverton, Gene Jersey, and John Manhatten share your middle name, so never mind, it's actually quite common.
To: kissmyconservativebutt
My name is honestly Kissmyconservativebutt R. Johnson.Since that is an unusually long first name, do you often shorten it, say to simply Kissmy, Mr. Johnson?

I hope you're not thinking my real name is not Commando Frank, because it is...
Signed,
Mr. Commando Frank
