If I didn't know any better, from the looks of the comments on this thread, I would have guessed that we got killed today. Since I know better, I'll just share with all of you that Clarke is a NOBODY in Washington now, he is radioactive with the Media, and you can expect even more revelations in the coming days. The Bush administration is not taking this lightly, and from what I am told, they feel that they won BIG-TIME today. Clarke is an angry man, looking to gain favor with the Left, and get high book sales, because he knows that he will never work in Government again for either side. This is an all-out blitz by the Left to win this upcoming election, because if they don't, so many members of Congress are leaving that Bush will end up with a Super-Majority within two years. The Democrats don't want to stay in office unless they are in charge. I was not told exactly what is going to happen, but I WAS told that by the time the Sunday shows roll around, Clarke will wish he was in the Witness Protection program. So once again, stop thinking the worst and just wait. As you should know by now, our side knows what they are doing. If the Media wont be fair, they will just go around them.

Good morning. I have to admit it looked a little bleak, but I have confidence there will be more news about Clarke coming from the White House.

The thing that gets me is the fascination with Clarke and yet when other books have been written I didn't see their authors at the committee meetings. Bipartisanship.....BULL!!

Pukin Dog said last night that he worked in the Pentagon for 5 months and still has some phone numbers in his rolodex and can use the information provided he doesn't use names. Perhaps Clarke will become radioactive to all but the most partisan leftists in the coming days as more information about him becomes available.

What gets me is that a book that's barely been published is cited as gospel truth by this committee.

I swear I haven't seen such a three ring circus in a while. If I wasn't so darned busy today I'd write some letters to Kerrey and the committee....might try to do it anyway.

On FNC just now:

911 Commissioner Lehman. Says they used Clarke as the guide for the entire 911 commission hearings; Clarke met with them privately for 15-16 hours!

Then he turned partisan on the commission and it took them by surprise.

So Clarke HAS been working behind the scenes for some time to set up a scenario where he could turn on the president. I call that kind of long term planning traitorous and he is a malignent narcissist.

And concluded that once again, the enemies of our security and freedom would go too far...

They just can't resist playing with the most extreme elements of their beliefs, and these are out of the mainstream!
