Sigh... I know, I know. And I was patient with her and didn't actually make choking noises. But it was really frustrating, because she's an intelligent woman and has used a computer for years, in certain cases.

Thinking about it, she's been using a glorified typewriter for years. But we've all walked her through this basic stuff before and she should at least know the difference between Yahoo and wherever the heck she was trying to log in...

Besides, I'll be one of the first people to get a biointerface. I can't wait to upload my mind. Er... well, then again there are always virus writers...

Speaking of which, did you ever notice that Heinlein invented a version of a CAD drawing program based on a typewriter in one of his early stories? I think it was the inventor character in Door Into Summer.
