rained so hard this morning some roads got flooded, so I didn't leave for work until 10:30. We didn't mind. ;) Well no! I guess not. :-)
Right now, we are waiting for a severe T-storm that's supposed to be moving this way. There is talk of a flash flood watch but it's not here yet. We're on the very southern edge of where the storm is supposed to go so we just might miss it.

What part of Texas is it that's getting drenched? Some of the guys at work were talking about it today (lotta weather geeks at the college...meteorology is one of the majors they're known for), but I didn't think I'd heard any of you mention it.

We had a big-*ss cluster of thunderstorms go through between 7:00 and 9:00 this morning, but once they passed through it pretty much stopped raining. The flooding was localized, only affecting low-lying roads and places with poor drainage. So, it was over pretty quickly!
