I'm stopping with the models on hand. Now that I've seen them, I know which ones would work, and which won't. I think our new source could last us a long time, although, like I said earlier, I'd be happier if the need went away tomorrow.
There are six knives, four folders, two fixed, being laser-engraved with the HH url and "PROTO". Anybody interested in them? They WILL be one-of-a-kind.
As far as writing reviews, I'm much too blunt to write reviews of products that are advertised in the same publication. Also, what I like and don't is often 180-degrees opposed to what others feel. The Gerber LS II is a great pocket knife for $20. But some people feel $20 is waaaay too much money for a knife, and want something in the $3 price range. I've seen those $3 knives, and I wouldn't give one to Osama bin Laden, even if he promised to slit his wrists with it.
Some people are poor, and I sure don't have a lot of money to throw around. But if all I had was $3, I'd wait, and save, and buy the $20 one when I could, and feel a lot better about it. So the guy who buys the $3 knife would probably think my review of a $20 knife was totally worthless. Of course, some people buy cheap booze not because they like the taste, but because they can get drunker cheaper.
I have lots of $3 knives. hehehe....
But, I always keep a better one in my purse, another one I carry camping, a different one when I go on bike trips. Depending on what I'm doing, I have a good knife for it. However, those cheapies make awfully good things to toy around with, opening packages, prying things, just general junk use. LOL
I'm sure we all have 'em for that too. :-)
