Hey there guys and gals! PQ here!

Remember a month back, February 11th, to be exact; I had a prayer request. To pray for my Dad and his battle against alcoholism. Well, I want to say thank you and PLEASE keep praying for him. I recently sent him a letter and told him about my experience when I went to go see the Passion of the Christ. Here is what he replied:

I want to see the movie so bad but I don't want to go alone. Regardless of what people say, it's actually a beautiful sacrifice that Jesus gave to save mankind. I am not a very religious or spiritual person, but I do serve the Lord in my own way. I thank him for everything. I love Jesus and I love my children. I was away for 20 years and 8 months, 10 years overseas. So I did not raise you, your Mom did. As well as your brother, I realize I was never there for you, but I love you, Joey, Jeric and all of your family as much as my own. I have to fight my addiction every day, but I know the evil one is trying to kill me, but I was saved, baptized, and I believe in the Blood of Jesus, so please never give up hope for me. We are family, and we should never have negative thoughts about each other. We have to fight the beast every moment, even in our sleep. Please forgive my mistakes, what bad words come from my mouth, it's not me, it's the demons of alcoholism. Life is tough. I've been working since I was 13 years old, I am tired. Wish me luck and pray for me. You are the best, Baby girl, I love you so much, your Dad

Will definitely pray about that, PQ. It sounds like he's working through a lot of stuff and going through some healing right now.

Oh PQ, that letter just brought tears to my eyes. He WANTS the Lord SO badly! You reckon he's thinking he's not worthy or something? Heck, NONE of us is truly worthy, but that's the beauty of Jesus; He takes us, warts and all! Your Daddy will be in my prayers for SURE!!
