I had to get up WAY too early this morning, especially considering I didn't get to bed til almost 2! I just got busy doing stuff and lost track of the time.
SSQ had to get up early this morning to report for Jury Duty at 8. Don't know if he was actually called, but he had to be there just in case. I got up at 6:30 so I could have a cup of coffee with him and make him a sandwick for lunch. Have been cleaning off my desk since; the piles are getting a little lower! ;o) But I think I'm gonna go back to bed for an hour or two; my eyes are burning!
Hope kitty is doing better this morning. Did she keep you up much last night?

She was quiet last night. She got the door of the bedroom closet open and slept in there. I think she felt more secure being in a small, sheltered place like that.
I have to run home at lunch, though, because I forgot to give her her antibiotic this morning. Should be OK since they gave her an antibiotic injection fairly late in the afternoon yesterday, but I don't think I should wait until tonight.

Good morning all!
Steve is down 14 pounds now! His goal is 175 (from 210). Since he's really only overweight in his abdomen, it's noticeable that it's coming off...his shirts started drooping across his chest first and now his pants are getting loose!
Needless to say, he's thrilled. Eating better than he has in years. He normally just picks up a bunch of danishes or a couple of cheap frozen pizzas and gorges on junk all day. Washes it down with huge cups of coffee with whole milk cutting it in half...with about a quarter cup of sugar in it.
Well, NO MORE! He has cut way down on the coffee, using Splenda to sweeten it and a vanilla Atkins 1g carb shake as creamer. Every night, I cook up his whole menu for the next day. Today it's sauted spinach, big salad, baked pork chops with lemon pepper, celery sticks with garlic cream cheese. Snack includes string cheese sticks, salsa-flavored pork rinds and avocado. Comes out to about 15g carbs. He can have 25 (first week post-induction for those of you that know). But he's coming home tonight, so I'll be able to fix supper.
I'm very busy, but everything is fine.
