Evening SuziQ - been interspersing some Cadfael mysteries amongst the other books, finished Summer of the Danes and now reading Penance of Cadfael. Had to toss in a couple of Patrick O'Briens along the way. Since Master and Commander, there seems be fewer copies of O'Briens work on the library shelves. Gave up any hope of reading them in order. sigh
I have an audio tape version of Summer of the Danes with Derek Jocobi reading it! I found it at a Building 19 (kind of an Odd Lots place) for less than $5 one summer, and listened to it on a trip down South. I just love his voice, and it was great hearing the book read by him.
I read "The Golden Ocean" and "Master and Commander" , but just couldnt' get into Desolation Island. Maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind or something. I'll try it again sometime.
Glad to hear Gypsy is settling in. She such a lucky doggie!
