I remember you mentioning the baby; didn't connect that with the funeral. Hope the family is managing okay--I have been praying for them.
I didn't see Stargate. What'd Atlantis take from that? I liked it more for the scenery than the plot--I like underwater movies.
To: Fedora
I know they need prayer. They're getting a lot, but that's hard.
Um. What did Stargate take from Atlantis? There are a lot of scenes you can just match one-to-one, particularly in the first third of each movie - you should really watch Stargate, it's cool. The dweeby scientist guy, the hard-bitten military guy - though in Stargate he's not the bad guy - the strange princess... Even the endings are the same!

Well, here is how I did on my bouquet...
Matches pretty well the hair thingy

It's OK! - I still have to do Sonya's... And since I will know twice as much when I finish hers as I do now, I may take this apart and re-do.... but right now I think it looks alright!
We also did a little hair dealy on a clip for Sonya but she took it with her.

What's a little missy like y'all want with a big ol' pickup truck anyway? Care to see something a little more dainty... like this Honda over here...?

Say... that seemed to come out pretty good.
So the interview was OK? What was the vibe like? What're they looking for?

Those are beautiful, and they do match very well!

I REALLY identify with your experience! I have a little ford ranger with a manual transmission, and every time I've gone car/truck shopping I've had to go through the song and dance about why I don't want an automatic. Grrrr... Those guys drive me crazy and they waste so much of my time!
To: Ramius
Well, the Human Resources woman was a little bit hard to warm up to.... she started out pretty icy, but the interview ended well.... We'll see :~D

They do everything in their power to get you to buy what *they* want to sell you, rather than what have actually asked for. Yeah, and then they are shocked when you actually say, "no, not interested" and walk off. LOL Follow you trying other tactics until you leave.

I'm glad it ended well. Most interviews I've been involved in have been a little difficult to start off but usually warm up by the end.

You should've dumped one of these on his head: My sweet little G.R.I.T.S. replies do that quite nicely as a rule. :-)

I totally understand. I am currently reclining on the couch with my new laptop. What a life!
Catch you later!

See ya. My connections too slow so I'm signing off, too.

Those guys drive me crazy and they waste so much of my time! I like dealing with my car dealer back home. He has known me since childhood. He knows exactly what to expect when I come around and is always full of good information that I actually want.
Called him this afternoon but he was out of the office. Am going to call back tomorrow morning and set him on the trail for me. *sigh* I'm tired of looking right now. Nothing is making me fall in lust except things I definitely don't need.
