Oh yeah.....I need to rack my "grapejuice." :)

doggy door?I still don't have one. With the kind of temperatures we get here...I'm a bit hesitant to knock a hole in the wall without experienced help! But if he went to someone who HAD a doggy door...it's true, he'd probably be fine. He's just easily distracted and doesn't like to ask!

Morning, everyone! How are all the pets doing today? Well...Cleo managed to lick and pull out some of her sutures. Nothing hangin' out and it doesn't look red or anything...
Talked to the vet and he told me to come get an Elizabethan collar to put on her. I picked it up and need to dose her and put it on, but she's nowhere to be found. Sigh. So I'm hoping if I stop searching she'll come out.

Pop open a can of tuna fish....that usually brings my cat out of hiding.
To: Overtaxed
Heh...cornered her and did both the medicating and the collar application. I'm impressed with myself!
Poor kitty, though...now she's walking around banging the collar into things. Hopefully I got it on tight enough to stay but not tight enough to bother her. Gotta corner her again and check...she'll probably hiss at me.
I'll be glad when this is all over and we can be friends again. *snif*

Poor kitty!

Good Morning All; just back from our walk through the NW quadrant of "the shire", Gypsy is now resting on the denim throw. She paid her respects to a couple of the friendly doggies along the way. LSA took in the groomers and Gypsy is quite a fine looking lady. She responded well to the 'detailing'.
:-)
Annie has brushed up against Gypsy a couple of times during the 'group grooming'. LSA will commence to brush one of the herd, and the other two will come a-runnin' for their share.
Since the rain appears to be holding off for a while, we'll be heading out shortly to kick a few tires.

Sounds like Gypsy is settling in nicely. Got the patio door open and Miss Kitty is checking it out. Think I need to get a soft, comfy kitty lounger to put out there.
To: RosieCotton
Rosie, poor kitty, hope all is well soon with her.

Yeah, no kidding...I'm worried because I have to keep taking the thing on and off. She can't really eat with it on, and she hasn't been eating all that much as it is. Not that she would starve in a week's time, anyway...but she wouldn't be able to drink with that on, either, and that's still more of a concern. The doctor said to just take it off when I'm able to keep on eye on her, so she can eat and all that...but what if she doesn't eat and drink right away and I have to go and have to put it back on?
*fret*
As I said, I'll be glad when this is all over...for the time being at least. Just another week or so.

So she's going to have that collar on while you're at work next week? Poor kitty!
To: Overtaxed
It's just until her incision heals a bit...probably Monday and Tuesday. But yes.
And I hate to do it...but the alternative is that she rips out all her stitches...which wouldn't be good, obviously.

So....are you going home at lunch? I'd hate to leav Miss Kitty all day without being able to eat and drink.

Mornin'
Well, my dogs are as always this time of time (curled up on the bed...under the covers). Total contentment (the full bellies from breakfast help that along).
And why wouldn't Gypsy eat up all that attention at the groomers?! All that personal attention -- no wonder the other dogs wanna get their cut.
To: RosieCotton
Elizabethan collars are a hard sort of torture! Zulu had to wear one for an extended time, and she would just lay down and refuse to move. Logan was cool with it, even if he would get stuck under things.

Good Morning!
Hehehe...the "other dogs" are cats.
Miss Cat has finished mooching for now and is curled up under the blankets for a snooze.

CATS!
ooooh...that is weird.
To: Overtaxed
We're rather dogocentric in my househould...if that isn't apparent already.

Pizza gooooood. Breakfast will finish it off.
No white sauce, though. Sorry.

Dunno. Haven't heard. But he was seeding his lawn about 8 pm last nite. It was dark, but his lawn tractor has little headlights.
We're just back from our errands. Didn't really find what we were looking for, so the morning was kind of a waste. Oh well. Will assemble the gardent this afternoon.
